On December 2, 2023, we attended the SWATposium hosted by FRC #771 SWAT. It was so much fun!
The morning started with a wonderful presentation by Heather Sheardown titled, “Engineering by Accident”. She has a fascinating story.
Our first session was Introduction to Programming FRC Robots: XRP Robot Programming. This was presented by one of our favorite people, William Neal. The kids had a great time learning more about the XRP robot that they had been working on previously.
Our second session was ‘Software Tools for Design and Simulation’.
The last session we attended was ‘How to Train Your Robot: AI Object Detection’.
The day was spectacular with everything planned perfectly. Our sessions were fantastic and the pizza lunch was perfect. We were even given a cute little plant to take with us.
